I promised in my welcome post to introduce a few of the articles that I have already had published, so here is the first. Written in October of last year to commemorate the birth of Christopher Wren, this biography charts his family and professional life between 1632 and 1723.

Although his major achievement is undoubtedly the redesigning and building of St Paul’s Cathedral, London after the Great Fire, I discuss some of Wren’s other works and influences, as well as his interests in mathematics and astronomy.

Sir Christopher Wren (1632-1723) is best known as the architect of St Paul's Cathedral in London. There is, however, more to Wren than one famous building.
